Wing Wang Updates.

 Just some Wing Updates.
I made a K&G rack for a 550 fit. Still need to finish up the brake system.

 Just some Wing Updates.

This here is just a test. I have to respray the base coat because it had an odd reaction to the original Honda clear. So I thought I'd try some scale graphics.

Just some random Shots of the Corvair and CB550.

Corvair upgraded control arm.

Here is an update to my bad control arm. This is re-enforced because the rotting stamped steel is fairly weak. New ball joint, and custom made Bronze bushings with zerk fittings for lubricating.

I crapped my pants on the way home from grabbing 3 more Wings.

So lets talk about the crazy thing that happened...

Somewhere in this mess is a 79 GL1100 and a 80~ Gl1100. In the bed of my truck is an 82 Gl1100 Interstate. All three engines are free, and the 82 has a title.

When we got home the trailer gate was down and we followed a trail down the road of Goldwing parts, so thats lovely.

No brakes, but I still managed to unload all three by myself. Father-in-law just had heart surgery, and although he tried, I wouldn't let him help.

There are 2 bags of accessories and the gentlemen who sold me the lot said if he finds more parts hell call me.

The whole idea he is a GO ANYWHERE (distance wise) bike and so I think I'm going to build the 82 into a partially naked bagger.

Remember when Killer Clowns were cool? The Dickies do.

If you aren't aware of the Dickies, then get aware. They are a great punk band post Ramones from the late 70s / early 80s, although they still tour. They did the soundtrack to "Killer Clowns from Outer-space". Also, they had some great albums like "Stukas over Disneyland". Anyway, they made killer clowns a thing years ago. They new "Killer Clowns" are poser douche-bags and hopefully their terrorizing of neighborhoods backfires on them in the form of a shotgun to the face.

Corvair Underdash Speakers from Oil Filters.

I cut open a few old (discontinued part numbers) filters and made some mounts. Then I used some small speakers from a Phillips home entertainment center channel. They're rated at 125w. Not sure if that's rms. Either way, I may run them to a small amp, because they don't carry as well as the rear speakers. They are loud if you crank them, and they surprisingly have great bass.

This is a picture I couldn't resist posting. I just think it looks cool.

Corvair Gasoline Heater Converted to LP.

I converted my Gasoline Heater to run on Propane. Regulator didn't work. It got warm, but didnt fire hot enough. So removed that and added a valve which works well left wide open.

Corvair Stuff

I've been spotted.

Just rolled 50k.
And now I'm rolling without a speedo because the noise was going to bleed my ears.
