Orange is the new black has no fucking idea what diabetes is. The writers there have no idea what it is, how it works, how insulin works, how food works, they really know nothing. Seriously, if we portrayed any other minority with that much inaccuracy they'd have the show shut boycotted. I actually really enjoy the show, but stop being fucking ignorant as fuck when it comes to diabetes.
Meanwhile google "OITNB Diabetes" and the only goddamned thing that comes up is how Boo lost 50 fucking lbs. Yep, thats diabetes for ya! lol gtfo
