96-00 Honda Civic BLOX Control arm bushing fix.
If you own a pair, you understand. I had my favourite machinist make me these two piece aluminium bushings. They are solid, don’t make noise, and I honestly couldn’t be happier.
Some random powdercoating.
Well, its been slow at my day job and so I figured with my truck down (transmission) and being forced to drive my civic everyday I would do a few things. One being the brakes. And, I figured while they were new and bare metal already I'd powder-coat them this cool color I got from Prismatic. I also did two old snap-on ratchets in a Blue RAL color texture. It is important to note, that I did not media blast the brake parts. I did disassemble them, degrease, gas out, and then coat them. They were alreayd bare metal and I dont have a portable blaster. I also used an old toaster on its side. Speaking of which my home made large oven is working really well.

Sisters! ...another project begins.
The History of this bike is very unclear. The guy I got it from said it isnt the original motor. A new "Crate" motor was installed 2800 miles before it was put away back in 1990. My friends over at SOHC4.org say that there were no "Crate" engines ever produced for these bikes. So who knows. Maybe it was a shipping crate. Anyway, it hasn't run since 1990 and the gas tank is solid rust (not a problem for me). Once finished, I get to take turns riding Sisters. ;)

I never posted a pic of the valves after I cleaned and coated them during my 550 build. Heres what I used:

Metal vs. Synthetic Cannula (Infusion Set)
I am using a metal cannula at a 90degree angle. Why? Because, Teflon or whatever other synthetic compound used in most cannulas causes tunneling and subsequently backwashes insulin out of the site. Its been a long road, but I am 2 boxes of infusion sets deep and not a single leak since switching to metal. IF YOU HAVE INSULIN LEAKAGE, TRY A METAL CANNULA!
