2013 wr250r review and first mods.

I haven't been riding my yz as much as I would have liked the past two years. That being said, I have been throwing around the idea of a wr for a while. I was a bit hesitant at first because I wasn't sure how it would match up against my 07 yz250f. After much consideration and my friend getting his ktm450 plated, I decided to pull the trigger. First impression, wow. It's very tall. I'm six foot and anyone smaller than that would need a lowering link. It's extremely nimble in the "I don't have time for bullshit or blinkers" sense. It has no problem achieving time travel speed. Also, I have a hard time not feeling like John fucking Connor when I'm blasting down the road. It's a great feeling. The suspension is incredible. I can easily get six feet of air and land softly. The tires are great on the road, they are also good on a dry trail. Add mud or anything loose and you're going to be steering with the rear wheel. I'm currently looking for tire options. Right off the bat it needs a pipe and a tail delete. The blinkers are also atrocious. I ordered some blinkers off eBay. Then I ordered a bunch of stuff from 12oclocklabs including the exup eliminator. Next was onto the fmf powercore 4 pipe. All I can say is, if you have sensitive ears, do not buy this pipe. I however love it! It kicks you in the chest like a horse when you slam the throttle. I'm still breaking the bike in so I can't really beat on it until then. Later I will be modding the airbox and installing a tuner.
