1977 cb550k fall pictures 2014

This year I rode to a really pretty destination and took a few pictures. I am no photographer, and the area wasnt quite illuminated the way I thought it would be.

Sisters! ...another project begins.

 The History of this bike is very unclear. The guy I got it from said it isnt the original motor. A new "Crate" motor was installed 2800 miles before it was put away back in 1990. My friends over at SOHC4.org say that there were no "Crate" engines ever produced for these bikes. So who knows. Maybe it was a shipping crate. Anyway, it hasn't run since 1990 and the gas tank is solid rust (not a problem for me). Once finished, I get to take turns riding Sisters. ;)

Wrench Bracelets.

A while back, I was experimenting with the creation of wrench bracelets. This is an example of one for an adult, and one for a child.

They are red-hot fitted, and then powdercoated.

Cb550, Cleaned, Coated Valves.
