Threshold - Staring at the Sun.

Its been a while since I posted any music. I dig this, even though the singer looks like Robin Williams.

2013 WR250R Mods.

I ordered this nice anodized smog pump blockoff from simonsayshello on ebay. I also removed my airbox flap actuator and double sided taped the flap down. I got on srmoto.com and made sure to order the Flatlands Racing skid plate and radiator guard combo. Then I ordered the fmf Power Commander. Initially, I liked the sound of the PC4. It was louder than my yz250f (which is extremely loud). Since I leave early in the morning I figured even though my neighbours hate me, I would try to be considerate and so I ordered the Q4 insert directly from fmfracing.com. While I was on the site I ordered white mashers. Now when I let it warm up in the morning it doesn't sound like a semi auto shotgun going off.

When the skid shield arrived I immediately had it powdercoated. I had heard a lot of people complaining about noise that the aluminium amplifies, so I used a heavy layer of 3m rocker panel coating, and then some flex seal on top. I have no additional noise.

The frame protectors and swingarm covers are from shedworks.net/. They fit very well and are of very high quality. I secured them with 3m double sided tape and two zipties. Love the way they look.
The moose fender bags are from bikebandit.com. I really like the way they fit. The headlight is tinted with lamin-x.com. It also protects the glass.

The last project that I have finished is the trackside heated grips. They are installed and work well. They get VERY hot.

My new cabinets in my garage for all my chemicals.

NGHL Wang Dangelers

I am not a racist. (Jesus I sound like Nixon) but seriously, my brother and cousin made the National Gay Hockey League (a fantasy sport league). My team, the Wang Dangelers.

2013 wr250r review and first mods.

I haven't been riding my yz as much as I would have liked the past two years. That being said, I have been throwing around the idea of a wr for a while. I was a bit hesitant at first because I wasn't sure how it would match up against my 07 yz250f. After much consideration and my friend getting his ktm450 plated, I decided to pull the trigger. First impression, wow. It's very tall. I'm six foot and anyone smaller than that would need a lowering link. It's extremely nimble in the "I don't have time for bullshit or blinkers" sense. It has no problem achieving time travel speed. Also, I have a hard time not feeling like John fucking Connor when I'm blasting down the road. It's a great feeling. The suspension is incredible. I can easily get six feet of air and land softly. The tires are great on the road, they are also good on a dry trail. Add mud or anything loose and you're going to be steering with the rear wheel. I'm currently looking for tire options. Right off the bat it needs a pipe and a tail delete. The blinkers are also atrocious. I ordered some blinkers off eBay. Then I ordered a bunch of stuff from 12oclocklabs including the exup eliminator. Next was onto the fmf powercore 4 pipe. All I can say is, if you have sensitive ears, do not buy this pipe. I however love it! It kicks you in the chest like a horse when you slam the throttle. I'm still breaking the bike in so I can't really beat on it until then. Later I will be modding the airbox and installing a tuner.
